We assist large pharmaceutical companies, Biotech firms, investment funds, and public institutions in their growth and strategic direction. Through our scientific and commercial expertise and the use of advanced technologies – such as artificial intelligence – we help our clients overcome economic, technological, and strategic challenges.

What You Will Do

As a Manager, you will lead client engagements across a variety of high-impact missions – including Mergers & Acquisitions (buy- and sell-side), company and asset evaluation, corporate strategy and market access. You will play a key role in shaping strategic recommendations and supporting critical business and investment decisions for our clients.

You will also contribute to the internal development of Larka, while supervising a team of 5 to 8 consultants and reporting directly to the firm’s partners.

Your main responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying opportunities, understanding client needs, and supporting the development of commercial proposals

Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, structuring analyses, guiding team execution, and ensuring the development of high-quality, insightful deliverables
  • Coordinate and oversee project execution—from data collection, literature reviews, and expert interviews to financial modeling and development of client-ready materials
  • Ensure the quality, robustness, and accuracy of analyses and deliverables
  • Lead client interactions and present key findings and recommendations in a clear and impactful manner
  • Supervise, coach, and develop analysts and associates

Internal Development Contribution

  • Continuously improve internal tools and processes
  • Contribute to recruitment and the firm’s growth

Your profile

  • You have graduated from an engineering or business school, or a university (min. Master’s degree). A dual degree and/or a PhD is highly valued.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in strategy consulting, transaction advisory, the pharmaceutical industry, investment funds, or investment banking.
  • You have experience working on transaction-related or strategic projects (e.g. commercial due diligence, valuation, company or asset assessment, corporate strategy, or market access).
  • You are passionate about Life Sciences and have a solid understanding of the Life Sciences ecosystem and its key dynamics.
  • You are comfortable communicating complex ideas, data, and scientific concepts – both in writing and verbally.
  • You are able to structure problems, challenge assumptions, and synthesize analyses into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • You know how to lead and develop a team while operating effectively in a demanding, high-stakes environment.
  • You are flexible and can adapt to changing priorities with a positive and proactive attitude ("can-do attitude").
  • You are comfortable leveraging advanced AI tools such as LLM, to support your work and improve the quality of deliverables.
  • You possess excellent time management skills and know how to prioritize your tasks.

  • You are fluent in both French and English – written and spoken. A third foreign language is highly valued.
